This classy townhouse sits on the main square of Cadaques, just some steps away from the sea promenade lined with restaurants and cafes. The first beach, Platja Gran is only 1 minute walk away. There is a grocery shop just some minutes away from the house, for bigger supermarkets, there is Roses.
Tucked away on the rugged northern edge of the Costa Brava, near the Cap de Creus Natural Park, it feels wonderfully cut off from the rest of the world. The winding road in is part of the magic—once you arrive, you’re rewarded with a whitewashed village spilling down toward a deep-blue bay, dotted with small fishing boats and framed by dramatic rocky landscapes.
Historically a fishing village, Cadaqués became famous as an artists’ haven in the 20th century. Salvador Dalí lived just nearby in Portlligat, and his surreal influence still lingers in the town’s creative, slightly bohemian atmosphere. You’ll feel it wandering through the narrow cobbled streets, browsing small galleries, or sitting in a seaside café as the light changes over the water.
The beaches here are mostly pebbled rather than sandy, with exceptionally clear water—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking.
